Ingredients
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- ¼ cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 Egg
- ¾ cup Milk
- 2 tablespoons Jalapeno, minced
- ½ cup Krill
- Canola Oil
- 1 Lime
Directions
1. Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl combine milk and egg.
3. Add in milk to cornmeal mix to combine completely.
4. Fold in minced jalapeno and krill.
5. Heat canola oil to 375 degrees F and drop in 1 tablespoon of hushpuppy mix into oil and allow to float and darken in color.
6. Remove from grease and serve with lime wedges.
